Founded & owned by Dr. Saleh & Dr. Karim
Lavena Health was founded by Dr. Adeeb Saleh, DO and Dr. Ahmed Karim, MD, two physicians who met inside the system and chose to walk away from it together. Between them they had spent years in emergency rooms and busy clinics, watching good medicine get squeezed into shorter and shorter visits by insurance rules, billing codes, and quotas. Over time it stopped feeling like caring for people and started feeling like feeding a machine.
They also saw what our community was missing: real preventative medicine. Care that gets ahead of disease instead of only reacting to it — hormones, metabolism, weight, energy, and longevity taken seriously long before a crisis forces the conversation. The area had no shortage of urgent care. What it lacked was a place built to keep you well.
So they built one. At Lavena Health, Dr. Saleh and Dr. Karim own the practice and see every patient themselves — no middle layer, no rotating providers, no insurance company deciding what you're allowed to need. Dr. Saleh is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with dual A4M certifications in Hormone Replacement Therapy and Weight-Loss Medicine; Dr. Karim brings a modern, proactive approach to wellness, weight loss, and longevity, known for his bedside manner and for putting patient education at the center of every plan.
What they share is a simple conviction: the best medicine is the kind you actually understand. They take time to explain what's happening in your body in plain language, break it into steps you can act on, and make sure every patient leaves seen, heard, and clear on the path forward. Your visit takes the time it takes — because that's how real outcomes happen.
We break your health down in plain language — what's happening, why it matters, and exactly what to do about it — so you can understand it and act on it.
Every patient gets unhurried time and a real conversation. You're a person we know by name, never a number on a packed schedule.
We get ahead of disease with proactive, longevity-minded care — protecting your energy, metabolism, and health for years, not just patching a problem today.
